Deep learning, an alternative resource for the identification of amyloid deposition

Prior studies suggest that deep learning application tools may prove to be a valuable alternative for the identification of amyloid deposition in resource limited hospital settings.
Results from this study demonstrated that the deep learning model, later named DeepAD, was the best application for identifying amyloid deposition with low marginal errors and faster calculation times, when compared to other neural networks.
According to the authors, DeepAD is an easily accessible web-based application that has the potential to be used for imaging tasks and can be applied to clinical settings with limited resources.
